AZ Alpha Spring Initiation

Founder's Day in Tucson

Hello brothers,
This is Kevin Newman, the alumni chairman for AZ Alpha this semester. For those of you that have not yet heard, we have a founder's day celebration set for Saturday, February 23rd. We will meet at the house starting at 6:00 PM and proceed to dinner at Hooter's at 7:00 PM. Dinner includes your choice of entree (burger with fries), five wings, and a drink for only $7. They will be playing the Arizona basketball game vs Washington State. Dinner will be followed by wine and cigars at the house. So far there are over 30 active brothers and pledges signed up, so this is a great chance to meet the undergraduate brothers as well as alumni. Please RSVP to me via email so I can get a rough head count. Hope to see you all soon, feel free to ask me questions or comments.

AZ Alpha 30th/60th Anniversary Celebration

2007 is a year to celebrate Arizona Alpha's milestones.

Not only do we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the re-chartering of Arizona Alpha, we also celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Arizona Alpha at the University of Arizona campus in Tucson .

We have planned a great celebration to reflect on our great memories and re-unite the brotherhood on October 19 and 20 at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

A special Bench Dedication will occur on Saturday to honor Ralph "Dud" Daniel alias "Mr. Phi Kappa Psi" for his contributions to Arizona Alpha and Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity.

Negotiation Workshop with Paul Wineman

On September 29, 2007 the Arizona Alpha chapter of Phi Kappa Psi will be welcoming Paul Wineman, the Vice-President of the national fraternity, for a visit to our chapter house. We will be holding a BBQ for this event followed by a speech from Mr. Wineman about the art of negotiation and what it means in the world today to be a good negotiator. As Alumni Chairman, I would like to invite all alumni to attend this special event. The BBQ will be held at our fraternity house located at 1011 N. Tyndall and should start around 11:30 AM. Mr, Wineman is scheduled to speak around 1:00 PM and it should mean for a great afternoon. Following the speech is the football game against Washington State and then all alumni and brothers are invited back to the house for wine and cigars with Paul. Attached is the formal invitation to the event with more information. I hope to see many of you here at these events:

AZ Alpha 30th/60th Anniversary Celebration

It's official: We are having a re-union to celebrate our 30th and 60th anniversary celebrations. Local alumni are invited to celebrate the:

  • Founding of the Arizona Alpha Chapter at the University of Arizona in 1947.
  • Re-chartering of Arizona Alpha in 1977.

Arizona Rattlers Game - Phoenix

Arizona is the next stop on the Phi Psi for Life ROAD SHOW tour! The Endowment Fund and the Fraternity, in coordination with area alumni, will host ROAD SHOW events in Tucson and Phoenix.

These events are designed to inform you about what?s going on in Phi Kappa Psi, meet some of the men leading our Fraternity and provide an opportunity to gather with your fellow chapter brothers. Come and meet "Mr. Phi Psi", Dud Daniel, and cheer on the home teams!  Drinks, appetizers and tickets are on us so RSVP soon becasue space is limited!

Phoenix
Join area Phi Psis at Stoudemire's for a pre game gathering prior to the Arizona Rattlers arena football game.  Enjoy free drinks and appetizers before heading across the street to watch the Rattlers do battle with the Austin Wranglers at the US Airways Center.  A photo of all guests will be taken on the field prior to kickoff.
